This is a silly project that I made just to mess around with Next.js based APIs.
You click a button and get a randomized startup-sounding name.
The even simpler frontend code is here: https://github.com/sjotterman/namr-frontend
You can see the finished product at https://namr.samuelotterman.com/
Next.js ships with API routes, which provide an easy solution to build your own API
. This example shows how it can be used to create your REST api.
Deploy the example using ZEIT Now:
Execute create-next-app
with npm or Yarn to bootstrap the example:
npm init next-app --example api-routes-rest api-routes-rest-app
# or
yarn create next-app --example api-routes-rest api-routes-rest-app
Deploy it to the cloud with ZEIT Now (Documentation).
