This project presents a real-time plastic detection scheme based on deep learning, tailored for a vision-based waste plastics sorting system.The project integrates YOLOX (You Only Look Once) object detection model and the DeepSORT (Deep Simple Online and Realtime Tracking) multiple object tracking algorithm for the purpose of plastic sorting.
