UniqGid

Get 128 bits uniq id globally, you need to set the unique node id by yourself.

Id structure is inspired by snowflake.

• 48 bits: millisecond timestamp, supports over 1000 years
• 64 bits: node id
• 16 bits: local sequence, supports up to 65M request/s per node.

Usage

# Init service with node id: `1`
{:ok, service} = UniqGid.init(1)

# Get unique ID.
{:ok, 1878707525583327798504100657962876931} = UniqGid.get_id(service)

Installation

If available in Hex, the package can be installed by adding uniq_gid to your list of dependencies in mix.exs:

end
