Project Objective:

Redesign KPBS's email newsletter template to deliver the most popular news articles in an engaging and user-friendly way.

Project Goals:

Create a visually appealing and modern email newsletter template that is easy to navigate and presents the most popular KPBS news articles in a clear and concise manner. Ensure that the new design creates better engagement, is easier to read for the end user, and allows more social media shares.

Design Considerations:

Use a clean and modern layout with ample white space, easy-to-read fonts, and strategic use of images and graphics that align with KPBS's brand. Ensure that the design is accessible and includes adequate contrast and font size, making it easier for users to read.

Incorporate real world testing across various devices to ensure all of the end users receive the same visual experience.

Update the content so that it is easier for the end user to read through. The design is based on a F-Pattern so the users can follow along through each piece of content without getting overwhelmed.

Technical Considerations:

Optimize the new template for different email clients, including Gmail, Yahoo, and Outlook. Use responsive design techniques to ensure that the newsletter is accessible and readable on different devices and screen sizes. Implement email marketing best practices, such as pre-header text, personalization, and clear call to action, to encourage users to engage with the content and share it on social media.

I also updated the HTML markup to include the following types of Begin/End notes:
