2. Data Storage: All student information is stored in a local file named examHall.txt. The file uses a pipe-separated format (USN|Name|Department|Room) to store the data.

3. Search and Display: The system allows users to search for specific student records by USN or name. It retrieves the data from the examHall.txt file and displays it on the GUI.

4. Edit and Update: Users can edit and update student details such as name, department, and room number. The modified information is saved back to the examHall.txt file.

5. Delete Records: The system also provides an option to delete student records from the examHall.txt file.

6. Error Handling: The project includes error handling mechanisms to handle exceptions such as incorrect file format, invalid input, or file access issues.

Requirements

To run this project, you need the following:

• Python 3.x installed on your system.
• Tkinter library for GUI implementation (usually comes bundled with Python).

Usage

1. Clone or download the project files from the repository.

2. Open a terminal or command prompt and navigate to the project directory.

3. Run the following command to start the application:

   python exam_hall_management.py

4. The GUI application will launch, displaying the main interface.

5. Use the provided buttons and input fields to interact with the system. You can register new students, search for existing records, edit/update information, and delete records.

6. All student data will be stored in the examHall.txt file in the current directory.
