Being funny is far too difficult, so why not let a system with no understanding of humor generate jokes for you? The goal of our project is to explore the concept of humor through joke generation via deep neural networks. This model will generate a joke based on an input context. In addition to constructing a humor generating neural net, we plan on analyzing the resulting network to try and understand the semantic features that go into the construction of the jokes.
