Aims to aggressively patch a game fatal error "CUtlRBTree overflow" with CGameStringPool
(CStringPool::Allocate
) being a culprit.
Currently extension targets entity names (targetname
/m_iName
) and unique vscript script ids (m_iszScriptId
).
Testing currently. Can expect heavier memory usage.
Ideally shouldn't be used, and if your server crashes with "CUtlRBTree overflow" - there might be a problem with a third party code causing a generation of too many strings (absolute limit is 65535).
