This is a Sample design implemented for a social media app. It uses Next.js framework to build the UI components. This is a design template.

Requirements

To run the project in development mode, you will require Node.js, and npm

• Node.js
• npm

Getting Started

Firstly, clone the repository and then install all the packages required by executing the following commands in the root directory of the project

git clone https://github.com/shasw94/social.git

Then browse to the folder and then execute.

npm install

Now, copy the sample.env file and name the new file as .env, and put in the actual values of environment variables in the same format as in the file sample.env

Packages that will be installed

• FontAwesome: Icons' library
• Tailwind CSS: CSS library for bootstraping CSS classes
• bcryptjs
• jsonwebtoken
• axios
• zod

Finally, run

npm run dev

Open http://localhost:3000 with your browser to see the result.

You can start editing the page by modifying app/page.tsx. The page auto-updates as you edit the file.

This project uses next/font to automatically optimize and load Inter, a custom Google Font.
