Settings for Windows Terminal.
These are located in “$env:USERPROfile/AppData/Local/Microsoft/Windows Terminal” for the preview version (1.1.1671.0)and in “$env:USERPROFILE/AppData/Local/Packages/Microsoft.WindowsTerminal_8wekyb3d8bbwe/LocalState” for the main release (1.0.1401.0). Which is a bit annoying.
There are now updated manuals at Microsoft Docs regarding settings and options.
I’m using Delugia Nerd Font since the suggested font, Cascadia Code, didn’t have Powerline fonts at the time. But there is a new version that includes this, Cascadia-PL.
I have added the default settings you can use in the defaults.json file, and the settings you might get when you start with an empty profile in initial.settings.json. These settings are created based on what you have installed and are in this case from the current shells I had installed at the moment.
To get your own initial settings, just clear the settings, json file and it will be created automatically. And to see the default settings, just press Alt when you click settings in the menu in Windows Terminal.
