installation instructions:

    brew install hammerspoon 
    cd ~/.hammerspoon
    git clone https://github.com/saru-d2/My-Hammerspoon-Config.git

Then you can start hammerspoon and add it to your login items. In the menu bar dropdown menu for hammerspoon you can then reload the config file to enable latest changes.

The shiftIt spoon is from https://github.com/peterklijn/hammerspoon-shiftit (but he's not accepting my PRs so..) Check out his README for more detailed instructions on how to configure shiftIt.spoon to your liking.
