To run the File Zipper locally, follow these steps:
- Clone the repository:
git clone https://github.com/sarthaknimbalkar/File-zipper-using-Huffman-Coding.git
- Navigate to the project directory:
cd File-zipper-using-Huffman-Coding
- Set up a virtual environment (optional but recommended):
python -m venv venv
source venv/bin/activate # On Windows, use `venv\Scripts\activate`
- Install the required dependencies:
pip install -r requirements.txt
- Run the Flask application:
python app.py
- Open your web browser and go to
http://localhost:5000to access the File Zipper application.
