- Open your terminal or command prompt window(cmd)
- Clone the project repository:
git clone https://github.com/sandeepruttala/recipe-share - Now open the terminal or cmd at the "recipe-share" directory
- (Optional) Create a virtual environment for isolating dependencies
- Install project requirements:
pip install -r requirements.txt - Make Migrations:
python manage.py makemigrations - Migrate the database:
python manage.py migrate - Only follow these steps when opening for first time & from next time only follow step 9 to open the project.
- Start the server:
python manage.py runserver - Click on the URL displayed in the cmd or open http://127.0.0.1:8000/ in your browser.
- That's it!
