Demo of Storybook 8.0.2 returning `null` for nextjs `useParams` hook

Geek Repo:Geek Repo

Github PK Tool:Github PK Tool

Small NEXTjs + Storybook demo to show that useParams() from next returns null in Storybook 8. This was fine in Storybook 7.

To see the issue:

  • npm install
  • npm run storybook
  • Navigate to Example > Button > Primary (you'll see an error - it should log null to the console)

This is a Next.js project bootstrapped with create-next-app.

Getting Started

First, run the development server:

npm run dev
# or
yarn dev
# or
pnpm dev
# or
bun dev

Open http://localhost:3000 with your browser to see the result.

You can start editing the page by modifying app/page.tsx. The page auto-updates as you edit the file.

This project uses next/font to automatically optimize and load Inter, a custom Google Font.
