Install Source SDK 2013 Singleplayer through Steam.

Set the beta branch to
upcoming
through properties for Source SDK 2013 Singleplayer. -
Download the Mapbase v6.3 release.

Extract the folders into your
sourcemods
directory.- This can usually be found in
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\sourcemods
.

Download the latest Director's Cut release.

Extract
directorscut
into yoursourcemods
directory. -
Restart Steam and run the game as "Director's Cut".

Load a map in the main menu.
- You can also click "Open Console" to open the console and type
map <mapname>
.

Click "Toggle ImGUI Visibility" and "Toggle ImGUI Input" in the pause menu until the UI is interactable.
- You can also press F1 and F2 respectively to toggle these in-game.

Use the top slider in the "Elements" menu to select the type of object to spawn.

Click "Spawn [Model / Light / Camera]" to spawn an object.
- Alternatively, click "Spawn [Model / Light / Camera] at Pivot" to spawn an object at the current pivot point.

Use the transform gizmo to move or rotate the object.

If the object is a model, click "Make Physical" to create physics objects.
- This is currently required for some bones to be manipulated.

Use the "Physics Object Index" slider to select a physics object to transform.
- Alternatively, hold CTRL to select the physics object under the cursor as long as the index is above

Press F or click "Freeze Physics Object" to freeze the physics object in place.

Press Z or click "Selected Physics Object to Pivot" to move the camera's pivot to the selected physics object.

Click "Remove Model" to delete the model.

You can scroll in/out to zoom the viewport camera, alongside using middle mouse to orbit the viewport.

Press F2 to toggle the UI and press F5 to save a screenshot. You've just made a poster!

- L: Toggle local/world space
- F: Toggle frozen bone
- Mouse Wheel: Zoom viewport

- CTRL: While held, select objects by clicking on them
