This repository contains software for financial analysis. get_chain.py - This module contains the procedure get_chain() to retrieve the option chain for a given stock symbol and expiration date from Yahoo! Finance, parse it and write it to a CSV (comma-separated values) file. No particular effort was made to make this scraper either robust or fast.
