SQL-Injection-Activity
This assignment presents code that creates an in-memory database and runs a number of queries with and without SQL injection, always dumping the results to the console. You need to modify the run_query() function to detect a potential SQL injection attack, prevent it, and display that information to the console. The specific type of SQL injection attack is the “OR value=value;” attack, and you must defend against that specific attack with value being any allowed SQL literal (numeric or quoted string).

Buffer-Overflow
This assignment presents code that collects a number from the user and then displays the number and a secret account number. Entering too many characters triggers the overwrite of the account number. Using the existing source code as a starting point, you need to prevent the user input from impacting the account number.
Cyber-Playbook
Playbooks are used by cybersecurity professionals to store or encapsulate knowledge on cybersecurity topics and tactics. I will use these again and again in the field to deal with situations as they arise. The idea is that I don’t want to wait until a challenging situation arises to have a plan; I want to already have potential mitigation strategies in my playbook that can help kickstart my process toward finding solutions.

Numeric-Overflow-Coding
This assignment presents code that is designed to show the two functions operating with and without overflow or underflows. Using the existing source code, you will add logic to the add_numbers() and subtract_numbers() functions to detect, prevent, and notify the caller of a numeric overflow. You will also modify the calling test_overflow and test_underflow functions to be notified of success or failure of the add or subtract functions they call, and to modify them, the functions write to the console with overflow status (true or false) and the numeric result of the function.
