This gem allows you to use the Dojox library (which is part of the dojo toolkit) with Ruby on Rails. This project is divided into three gems:
- dojo-rails
- dijit-rails
- dojox-rails
Just open up your application's Gemfile and add the following lines:
gem 'dojo-rails', '~> 0.14.0'
gem 'dojox-rails', '~> 0.14.0'Just run the bundle command to install the gems. You don't specially have to
add the dojo-rails gem to your bundle ; you can rely on a CDN or whatever.
Then, in your javascript files just use the require directive and load your
Dojox assets just like that (here's a gist with CoffeeScript):
require ["dojox/charting/Chart", "dojox/charting/themes/Claro"], (chart, theme) ->
