Consistency needed between X and checkmark

In Chapter 1, X's are used in columns to denote RV32, RV64, and extension membership in the right columns. But then in Section 1.1, checkmarks are used instead. Then, in 1.5, X's are used again.

We should be consistent with either one or the other.
