The Austin Crimes Analysis project was initiated in January 2020 with the objective of examining hate crime trends in Austin, TX, specifically focusing on the impact on the LGBT community. The analysis utilizes datasets obtained from the publicly available databases of the Austin Police Department, accessible at data.austintexas.gov.
We are dedicated to delivering accurate and comprehensive insights through our analysis. The project aims to shed light on the occurrence and patterns of hate crimes, ultimately contributing to a better understanding of these issues in Austin.
