U.S. States Game

This is a Python program developed as part of the 100 Days of Code challenge. It is a game that tests your knowledge of U.S. states by prompting you to enter the names of the states on a map.

Features

  • Displays a blank map of the United States.
  • Prompts the user to enter the names of the states.
  • Keeps track of the states guessed correctly.
  • Displays the number of states guessed correctly.
  • Allows the user to exit the game at any time by typing "Exit".
  • Stores the list of states that the user still needs to learn in a CSV file.

Requirements

  • Python 3.x
  • turtle library
  • pandas library

Usage

  • Clone the repository or download the project files.
  • Install the required libraries by running the following command: pip install -r requirements.txt.
  • Run the script by executing the command: python main.py.
  • A Turtle graphics window will open with a blank map of the United States.
  • Enter the names of the U.S. states. The program will keep track of the states guessed correctly and display the count.
  • To exit the game, type "Exit".
  • After exiting the game, a CSV file named "states_to_learn.csv" will be generated, which contains the list of states that were not guessed correctly.
