The label under the image for the motor on http://www.raspberrypi.org/learning/spinning-flower-wheel/requirements/ says "1 x Geared motor (12V 80RPM)" but clicking on the picture takes me to an Amazon page saying "6-12V 22000RPM Rotated Speed Double Shaft Electric DC Micro Motor" which is obviously something substantially different. Not sure many people need their flowers spinning at 22,000RPM! ;-)
(and the linked motor is out of stock anyway)

Perhaps http://www.amazon.co.uk/0-06A-80RPM-Electric-Reducing-Geared/dp/B00S4U6M5A/ is more like what you're looking for?
