CatImageInfo ************ This project contains test tools that gather information on image content (not strings or meta information) and use that information in a dynamic and applied fashion. The initial release of the program uses Google Search by Image capability in order to gauge the image content. Some example tools developed include a direct Google Search by Image accessor program from the command line (postimage), a dynamic image dereferencing or "viewer" program and namesake (catimageinfo), and finally a program to dynamically rename all image in a directory based on their content (rename_directory.sh). This tool just like postimage below uses Google Search by Image to faciliate the image dereference. (as root) ./catimageinfo [eth0] [-s <echo server ip> <echo server port>] *********** POSTIMAGE ACCESSOR ********** This tool is a direct usage of post image, it will upload desired image to Google and report the desired level of verbosity for the image. ./postimage <desired info> <imagepath> [<echo server ip> <echo server port>] Desired Info - Description 0 - only report positive results 1 - report positive results OR simliar links 2 - report positive results AND similar links **note this can be used with Driftnet -> driftnet -a | xargs --min-lines=1 ./postimage 0 *********** IMAGE BINNING UTILITY ***** This tool renames all images within a directory. For instance if you wish to rename a directory of 10000 images in a single directory to content appropriate meanings run this tool.
