Installation

Cloning the Repo git clone https://github.com/hacks-and-codes/System-Response-Analyzer

You can install System Response Analyzer using pip: pip install -r requirements.txt pip install system-response-analyzer

Prerequisites

  • Python 3.x
  • Requests library (install via pip install requests)

Usage

  1. Clone the repository to your local machine.
  2. Install the required dependencies (see Prerequisites section).
  3. Run the script by executing python system_analyzer.py [URL].
  4. Follow the on-screen instructions.

Getting Started

  1. When you run the script, it will prompt you to enter a URL or IP address to measure system response time if you didn't specify one as an argument.
  2. It will then check for available OS updates and ask if you want to update only if there are updates available.
  3. After that, it will display CPU and memory usage, disk usage, and network traffic metrics.

Examples

Measure response time for a website: Enter the URL to measure response time: example.com

Measure response time for an IP address: Enter the URL to measure response time: 192.168.0.1

Measure response time for the local host: Enter the URL to measure response time: localhost

Measure response time for the local host: Enter the URL to measure response time: 127.0.0.1
