zilpzalp QMK firmware

A wonky 28-key split-unibody column-stagger keyboard.
IMPORTANT: This firmware is only suitable for the Seeed Xiao RP2040 MCU! If you would like to use the BLE version of the XIAO, please consider using ZMK firmware (currently only tested for the RP2040 version).

Make example for this keyboard (after setting up your build environment):

Default keymap

The default keymap is set to QWERTY with the Q, Z, B, /, and P keys missing. They are reacheable via combos. N was moved to the right reachy thumb. Please consult the keymap file for further details.

Vial support

Ready-to-flash Vial firmware is provided as zilpzalp_vial.uf2.

If you want to compile the Vial firmware yourself, you may use make zilpzalp:vial in your vial-qmk directory. Also see the vial keymap directory. For further details please consult the Vial docs.

Bootloader

Enter the bootloader in 3 ways:

  • Physical reset button: Press the reset button (labelled "R") while holding down the bootloader button (labelled "B")
  • Keycode in layout: Press the key mapped to QK_BOOT (hold right button of the right thumb and press the top button of the left ring finger
