This project to get a resume as input in text form and analyze the words and score the resume. This is a console-based application which takes a resume in text form as input and analyzes the words contained therein. The purpose of the analysis is to score the resume according to how well it uses common, meaningful words, with a focus on so-called "action words" that convey specific information about the applicant's skills and experience.
How to run this project:
- download code
- extract zip
- install libraries using pip
- download dataset from https://www.kaggle.com/datasets/gauravduttakiit/resume-dataset?datasetId=1177531&sortBy=voteCount
- set path to the Dataset CSV file
- now run in any IDE
