Making Modifications to This Script
No modifications are required to the R file before you can process the data. Place the R file in your working directory and source it.
Project Summary
The following is a summary description of the project instructions
This script will perform the following steps on the UCI HAR Dataset.
- Merge the test and train data sets to create one data set
- Extract only the measurements on the mean and standard deviation for each measurement
- Apply descriptive column names to name the activities in the data set
- Label the data set with descriptive activity names
- Creates a second tidy data set with the average of each variable for each subject / activity
