”at some point“ 译为 “同一时刻” 似乎不太恰当；“identical” 在这个语境中应当译为 “相同的”。
建议译为
不管你做一个或五个提交，只要所有的改动都曾被加入进来，项目分支末端的快照就是一样的，……
