Google authenticator installation

Hey. I don't know anything about coding. And this is probably a noob question. I was installing raft in miniconda with the instructions. But why is it asking to install Google Authenticator? What made it a part of the package install, with the command:
"conda install pytorch=1.6.0 torchvision=0.7.0 cudatoolkit=10.1 matplotlib tensorboard scipy opencv -c pytorch".
And does it serve a purpose?
