Digitrac

A web application which continously check for changes and log them in a store.

SailsJs : Backend

Sails.js is a Model-View-Controller web application framework developed atop the Node.js environment. It is designed to make it easy to build custom, enterprise-grade Node.js web applications and APIs.

VueJS : Frontend

Vue.js is an open-source Model–view–viewmodel JavaScript framework for building user interfaces and single-page applications.

Installation

1. Make sure you have npm or node install on your system by following this link https://nodejs.org/en/download/

2. Open your terminal, and install sails js by running the following command npm install sails -g

3. clone the project repository to the location of your choice by running git clone https://github.com/princesegzy01/digiTrac.

4. change directory into the digiTrac folder and run npm install to install all the dependencies.

Run App

1. Start the application by running sails lift.

2. open your favourrite browser and point the url to http://localhost:1337 to see the application running.
