20141006MajesticThai
When my instructor assigned this homework project over a long weekend, I was ecstatic. After all, I lived in Thailand and it always pains me to pay $15 at a Thai joint in America for a dish I used to eat on the street for less than a dollar. So don't be alarmed when you notice all the prices are listed in Thai Baht, as I promise the food is up to par and - Thai fare or not - now I'm ready to help any restaurant accept orders from their website!

Editor's note: my current portfolio is available at http://patricklove.com. This repository and the following link rep an earlier vision deemed "too 90s" by some voices I trust:
A17-TurnBasedBattleGame
This one was fun. My skills have come a long way since I made it and there are some aspects I would code differently if I did it all over again, but back in the day I used to love playing Final Fantasy RPGs, so writing damage algorithms for the first time and then experiencing my dynamic gameplay come to life during testing was definitely rewarding. If you think you're up for the challenge, watch out for Jaws - he's tough!
AlleyOopdate
Know where the action’s at before you go. Alley Oopdate takes the guesswork out of finding a good pickup hoops game. Simply search for courts around you and see where "Alley Oopdates" have been posted recently by other users. Gone are the days of wondering if it’s worth your while to hit up the park...just make sure you’re ready to ball.
AltSchoolTiles
3-hour timer on this challenge: I received an email with the specs for a prototype of an educational tool that saves user tile boards to a server-side database at 2pm, and my response to that email containing the URL of the project deployed on GitHub had to be postmarked before the stroke of 5.
