OpenWapp
Use WhatsApp in your Firefox OS device. Install it from Firefox Marketplace!
With OpenWapp you can communicate with all your friends and family already using WhatsApp in Firefox OS or any other phone.
- NO HIDDEN COSTS: Once you and your friends download the application, you can use it to chat as much as you want.
- MULTIMEDIA: Send Videos, Music, Images and Location to your friends and Contacts.
- GROUP CHAT: Enjoy group conversations with your contacts. Add or Remove group participants, change group subject and set a group icon.
- PERSONAL: Set a profile photo which will be shown to all your contacts.
Please note that current version of OpenWapp has been tested to work on versions 1.1 and 1.3 on commercial devices. Unexpected results could be found when running OpenWapp on developer devices.
Contribute
OpenWapp is an open source project and therefore you are more than welcome to download the code and contribute to the OpenWapp Library (CoSeMe) and/or the OpenWapp client. If you find any issue please report it to us here and we will try to fix it as soon as possible.
You can compile OpenWapp by yourself and test it on your device.
