pfmoro / Statistical-Analysis-On-public-view-on-USA-Space-Program

This is a Statistical inference analysis, using R language, that aims to evaluate how did the public opinion regarding the USA Space Program has changed throughout the past decades. The database used is the University of Chicago's General Social Survey and a frequentist aproach was taken. It can be conclude that there was a drop in positive evaluations of the program during the 1970's and the 1990's, the former most likely related to the Apollo program Cancelation and the latter probably due to Hubble's space telescope mirror flaws.
