The Go code is for converting the original JSON format to EPUB.
For Kindles, use KFX format which is converted with Calibre, KFX Convesion Output Plugin and Kindle Previewer using this method.
For Kindle with Koreader, change Setting > Device > Additional UI fallback fonts for Index(Table of Contents) font.
