YourNotes is a simple and quick mini-program for personal note management and schedule reminding. All notes created by YourNotes is stored on the disk and can be displayed or hidden on the screen. YourNotes is built for efficiency, practicality and convenience as an open-source application. And this version is specifically developed for desktop usage with Qt framework. Now YourNotes Desktop supports cross-platform feature and is available for Windows XP/Vista/7/8/10, Mac OS X and Linux.
YourNotes is an open-source project released on Github community, thus, we encourage developers interested in this project to help us improve YourNotes. We would appreciate your suggestions and implementation code. Contact us to let us know your ideas.
YourNotes is an open-source application first released on Github. Since installation package hasn't been released, end users need to download the source code, then compile and run it by themselves. To run YourNotes successfully, please follow steps below:
- Visit YourNotes repository page and fork YourNotes to your own repositories.
- Clone it to the local disk.
- Compile the source code with Qt Creator and run the compiled program. Please note that: you may need to be familar with Qt Creator before.
Note that YourNotes is based on Qt 5.5.1 and works well, but may have compatibility issues with Qt4.
You may need to be familar with Git and Qt5 before getting started to clone and compile YourNotes.
