AWS Lambda HipChat Notifications

This Lambda function can be used to receive Cloudwatch Alarms in HipChat.

1. Create an new Lambda function

Copy the contents of lambda.js into an new Lambda function. Then update the config variable. See for more information: https://www.hipchat.com/admin/api

2. Add a SNS Topic

Add an new topic in SNS. This topic will be used to receive the cloudwatch alarm data and sends a notification to the Lambda function.

3. CloudWatch alarm.

Create an new CloudWatch alarm with notifies the created SNS topic.
