Pablo Bernabeu's repositories
Data-is-present
This project offered free activities to practise reproducible data presentation. Pablo Bernabeu organised these events in the context of a Software Sustainability Institute Fellowship.
UKCLC2020-workshop-Open-data-and-reproducibility
A workshop, 'Open data and reproducibility: R Markdown, dashboards and Binder', led by Pablo Bernabeu and Eirini Zormpa at the UK Cognitive Linguistics Conference (https://www.ukclc2020.com/pre-conference).
Dutch-modality-exclusivity-norms-Bernabeu-2018
This repository contains all experimental data, including every respondent's survey, the final data set in Excel or CSV format, and the analysis code in R.
VTT-Transcription-App
This open-source, R-based web application allows the conversion of video captions (subtitles) from the Web Video Text Tracks (WebVTT) Format into plain texts. For this purpose, users upload a WebVTT file with the extension of 'vtt' or 'txt'. Automatically, metadata such as timestamps are removed, and the text is formatted.
Experimental-data-simulation
Generate a pseudorandom data set to simulate an experiment. This web application is suitable for educational and research purposes in experimental and quantitative sciences. It allows the creation of varied data sets with specified structures, such as between-group and within-participant variables, that can be categorical or continuous.
kableExtra
Construct Complex Table with knitr::kable() + pipe.

Modality-switch-effects-emerge-early-and-increase-throughout-conceptual-processing
This Github repo has the sole purpose of enabling Binder environments to run R code in RStudio (https://mybinder.org/v2/gh/pablobernabeu/Modality-switch-effects-emerge-early-and-increase-throughout-conceptual-processing/master?urlpath=rstudio) and Shiny (https://mybinder.org/v2/gh/pablobernabeu/Modality-switch-effects-emerge-early-and-increase-throughout-conceptual-processing/master?urlpath=shiny/Shiny-app/) environments.

CarpentryCon-2020-workshop-Open-Data-Reproducibility
This workshop provides a stepping stone into a suite of interrelated tools—R Markdown, data dashboards and Binder environments—, which are all underlain by reproducible workflows and open-source software.
rscopus_plus
The rscopus_plus functions (Bernabeu, 2024) extend the R package rscopus (Muschelli, 2022) to administer the search quota and to enable specific searches and comparisons.

plot.fixef.allFit
Visualise the output from allFit(), to look at the parameters for a set of predictors across a set of optimizers (e.g., bobyqa, Nelder-Mead, etc.)
jspsych-contrib
An open repository of jsPsych plugins and extensions, without any official support
knit_deleting_service_files
The function knit_deleting_service_files() helps avoid (R) Markdown knitting errors caused by files and folders remaining from previous knittings (e.g., manuscript.tex, ZHJhZnQtYXBhLlJtZA==.Rmd, manuscript.synctex.gz). The function offers deleting potential service files before and after the knitting.
