pay2my.app React.js demo

This is a demo of using pay2my.app with React.js.

The live demo — which uses a demo back-end hosted as an Azure function (as per pay2my.app demo code) — is described in the About section below.

About

This demo was created using the following steps:

Created the React application and go into the new subfolder.

npx create-react-app pay2my.app-react-demo -–template typescript
cd pay2my.app-react-demo

NPM install all the dependencies, types.

Note the pay2my.app— they're being braught in as a dependancy.

npm install --save typescript @types/node @types/react @types/react-dom @types/jest pay2my.app

Modify eslintConfig in package.json as per https://www.fast.design/docs/integrations/react/.

Note the no-unused-expressions is added.

Bring in pay2my.app Web components into the application. Modify src/index.js.

Added React components to wrap pay2my.app Web components:

  • wraps pay2myapp-hub

  • wraps pay2myapp-appsell

• src/components/Pay2MyAppLoginButtonComponent.tsx

  • wraps pay2myapp-appsell as a login-only button
  • also added custom styles fro demo purposes src/components/Pay2MyAppHubComponent.css

• src/components/Pay2MyAppLoginComponent.tsx

  • wraps pay2myapp-login

• src/components/Pay2MyAppStatusComponent.tsx

  • wraps pay2myapp-status

Rename /src/App.js to /src/App.tsx and modify it for pay2my.app demo code specifics:

• hub
• nav
• login button
• three feature buttons
• some other demo specific elements:
  • src/components/Messages.tsx messages widget and corresponding styles
  • some assets and public files

The components use a demo back-end hosted as an Azure function as per pay2my.app demo code, read about it there.

Run using npm run start

View at http://localhost:3000/

Notes

This project was bootstrapped with Create React App.

Available Scripts

In the project directory, you can run:

npm start

Runs the app in the development mode.
Open http://localhost:3000 to view it in the browser.

The page will reload if you make edits.
You will also see any lint errors in the console.

npm test

Launches the test runner in the interactive watch mode.
See the section about running tests for more information.

npm run build

Builds the app for production to the build folder.
It correctly bundles React in production mode and optimizes the build for the best performance.

The build is minified and the filenames include the hashes.
Your app is ready to be deployed!

npm run eject

Note: this is a one-way operation. Once you eject, you can’t go back!

If you aren’t satisfied with the build tool and configuration choices, you can eject at any time. This command will remove the single build dependency from your project.

Instead, it will copy all the configuration files and the transitive dependencies (webpack, Babel, ESLint, etc) right into your project so you have full control over them. All of the commands except eject will still work, but they will point to the copied scripts so you can tweak them. At this point you’re on your own.

You don’t have to ever use eject. The curated feature set is suitable for small and middle deployments, and you shouldn’t feel obligated to use this feature. However we understand that this tool wouldn’t be useful if you couldn’t customize it when you are ready for it.
