ConsultTheWord is a chat application that allows users to seek guidance and insights from various sacred texts using AI language models. Users can input their questions or concerns, select a sacred text, and receive generated responses based on the chosen text.

## Getting Started
### Prerequisites
- Python 3.x
- Flask
- OpenAI API key
### Installation
1. Clone the repository:git clone https://github.com/olimiemma/ConsultTheWordv2.git
2. Navigate to the project directory:
cd ConsultTheWordv2
3. Create a virtual environment (optional but recommended):
python3 -m venv venv
4. Activate the virtual environment:
- For Windows:
```
venv\Scripts\activate
```
- For macOS and Linux:
```
source venv/bin/activate
```
5. Install the required dependencies:
pip install -r requirements.txt
6. Set up the OpenAI API key:
- Open the `app.py` file.
- Replace `"YOUR_API_KEY"` with your actual OpenAI API key.
7. Run the application:
python app.py
8. Open your web browser and visit `http://localhost:5000` to access the chat application.
## Usage
1. Enter your question or concern in the "Whats wrong Child" input field.
2. Select a sacred text from the dropdown menu.
3. Click the "Submit" button.
4. The AI-generated response will appear below the form.
