A browser extension that enhances the readability of academic articles by replacing 'et al.' with '& the gang'.

Compatibility

This extension is compatible with most Chromium based browsers including:

• Google Chrome
• Microsoft Edge
• Firefox
• Opera

Installation

While these instructions are specifically for Chrome, they should be fairly simple to replicate within other browsers.

1. Download this extension as a .zip file from GitHub.
2. Unzip the file (you should have a folder named et-al-to-the-gang-master).
3. Go to chrome://extensions or edge://extensions (or click Settings > Extensions).
4. Toggle the Developer Mode switch.
5. Drag the et-al-to-the-gang-master folder anywhere on the page to import it (do not delete the folder afterwards).

The extension will be available on either the Chrome Webstore or Microst Edge Add-On store if there is enough demand.
