Vanilla JS quickstart

This is a sample app to quickly get you started with Novu. It'll help you send your first notification with Novu in no time. Just execute the following steps:

Environment Variables

To run this project, you will need to add the following environment variables to your .env file in backend directory

NOVU_API_KEY

Run Locally

Clone the project

  git clone https://github.com/novuhq/vanillajs-quickstart.git

Go to the backend directory

  cd vanillajs-quickstart/back-end

Install dependencies

  npm install

Create a .env file and place your Novu API key under NOVU_API_KEY

Start the server

  npm run start

Go to the frontend directory

cd ../front-end

Install dependencies

  npm install

Run the project

npm start

Your project should now be running on localhost.
