The Nexus Aurora Foundation VR Experience with the aim of creating a platform of the Nexus Aurora communities ideas and designs. Using crowdsourced contributions in a controlled manner on an open-sourced project we are aiming to create a visually stunning experience to inspire the next generation and people interested to think about Mars. Keeping that goal in mind we want to allow for as many platforms and devices to run this VR experience so that we can reach a large as possible audience for education and demonstrating our innovations.

  • using Unity version: Download => 2020.1.0b10
  • using High Definition Rendering Pipeline
  • Custom made assets-manager.

How to start First you navigate to the GitHub repository that contains all our open source code! Click Here Then you click the fork button in the top right

You have made your forked repository! A new repository will show up looking exactly like ours but it yours! Now you can use your favorite git software to get the code from the server to your machine. And develop however you want too. Don't forget to commit! If you need help with setting up your development environment, please ask in the #vr-discussions for help from your fellow developers or make an issue on the github.

Feature done? After you have completed your feature you can create a pull request back to the original repository. Make sure you target our develop branch otherwise we will ask you to remake the pull request.

Coding conventions

We will use Microsoft's coding conventions to for maximum readability and easy because mostly every company uses it which means using it here will benefit you for working in companies.
