The VJTI Friends slack is an unofficial slack instance for VJTI students and alumni.
The slack is currently invite-only. Instructions on how to join is TBD!
We take the Code of Conduct very seriously so please ensure that you read this.
All participants in the VJTI Friends Slack are expected to follow the code of conduct. Administrators will enforce this code.
VJTI Friends Slack is dedicated to providing a harassment-free experience for everyone, regardless of gender, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, or religion. We do not tolerate harassment of participants in any form. Sexual language and imagery is not appropriate for any chat topic. Participants violating these rules will be expelled from the group at the sole discretion of the group administrators.
Harassment includes offensive comments related to gender, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, religion, sexual images, deliberate intimidation, stalking, sustained disruption of discussions or other events, and unwelcome sexual attention.
Participants asked to stop any harassing behavior are expected to comply immediately.
If you are being harassed, notice that someone else is being harassed, or have any other concerns, please notify an administrator immediately.
- Introduce yourself in the
#introchannel. Please include the batch and branch you are/were in. - Check the channel list before you decide to make a new channel. If a channel already exists that you want to create, just join it and start chatting!
- Posting permissions for the
#generalchannel are restricted to admins only and will be used for announcements. - If we notice that someone is not a VJTI student or alumni, admins will remove them.
