Hasn't been tested thoroughly on polygons and multi-polygons but if there is something wrong its a simple fix. (this was ported from golang) Pythons gzip libary implementation is pretty fucked (takes a file reader / writer) and I don't feel like looking up how to mask byte arrays in iostream at the moment so that currently isn't supported either but easily could be.
