MARCARviz framework for analysis of gene expression data

About

This is a Node.js server for analysis and visualization of expression data (e.g., from Microarray or RNAseq experiments).

More information will be added soon.

Setup

MARCARviz has been tested with Windows 8.1 64bit and Ubuntu 14.04 LTS.

Windows

  1. Clone the Git repository

  2. Install Nodejs, Python, and R

  3. Go to the project directory and install the dependencies with the Node Package Manager

     npm install
    
  4. Extract the inchlib_clust-0.1.4.zip

  5. Install the MongoDB server or create a config.json and change the db_host to point to the database server

  6. Once the MongoDB server is running, start the MARCARviz server

     npm start
