OSG

OSG - Orbital Strike Group

or,

OSG - OpenGL Scene Graph engine

Take your pick. OSG is a simple scene graph-based engine that arose out of a project in a Computer Graphics class at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Based somewhat on Irrlicht, OSG features support for render to texture (RTT), multiple render targets (MRT), and deferred shading.

Dependencies

Cg shader code, for obvious reasons, depends on the NVIDIA Cg libraries.

The Texture class uses SILLY, a part of the CEGUI library, as an image loader. This allows textures to be loaded from PNG, JPEG, and TGA files.

GLEW is used to access Framebuffer functionality.

Version History

0.1:
The result of the second project in CS 559 (Computer Graphics) at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Essentially just a poor man's Irrlicht with forward shading only.

0.2:
A result of the third and final project in CS 559. The engine now sports several advanced features such as mesh loading from OBJ files and deferred shading.
