If you are a beginner, and looking for your first contribution, please follow the steps listed below.

Fork 🍽️ this repository on GitHub by clicking on the Fork button at the top of this. GitHub repository URLs will reference both the username associated with the owner of the repository, as well as the repository name.
To make your own local copy of the repository you would like to contribute, use the git clone
command along with the URL that points to your fork of the repository. To find the url, click on the Clone or Download button near the top of the repository and copy the link shown and use the command:
git clone <copied url>
Use the git branch new-branch
command to create a new branch for your issue.
Once you new branch to work in, switch to it by using the checkout
command:
git checkout <your branch name>
Once you have finished making changes and would like to make a pull request, start by staging your changes.
git add -A
or git add .
This will stage all of your file changes across your forked repository.
git commit -m "<commit message here>"
This will commit the staged changes to your branch. It is good to provide a meaningful commit message which explains your changes.
Ex: git commit -m "updated checkout button styles"
At this point you have made changes, staged them and commited them. These changes all live on your local hard drive and need to be pushed to your remote repository.
git push origin <your branch name>
At this point, you are ready to make a pull request to the original repository! Navigate to your forked repository, and press the “New pull request” button on your left-hand side of the page.
