grabngo

Convenient command line tool to repeatedly regex a value out of stdin and return it in a pleasant shape

Usage: grabngo.js <pattern> [options]

Commands:
  grabngo.js pattern  Extract a pattern line by line and merge results

Options:
  --version      Show version number                                   [boolean]
  -d, --delimit  Join the output with a specified delimiter
  -q, --quote    Join the output into a quoted list
  -s, --sort     Sort the results
  -u, --unique   Reduce results to a unique set
  -g, --group    Group number to extract, default: 1
  -l, --newline  End output with a newline
  -t, --total    Assume the extracting values are numbers and sum them together
  -h, --help     Show help                                             [boolean]
  --prefix       Prefix in front of extracted value
  --suffix       Suffix after the extracted value

Examples:
  grabngo.js (d{3}-d{3}-d{4}) -d ,  Extract phone numbers and join with commas

Notes:

Any non-matching line is ignored
You can use as many parenthesis as you need, but only the first is extracted
