#Human Activity Recognition Using Smartphones
The required dataset is obtained from https://d396qusza40orc.cloudfront.net/getdata%2Fprojectfiles%2FUCI%20HAR%20Dataset.zip and corresponds with the original dataset http://archive.ics.uci.edu/ml/datasets/Human+Activity+Recognition+Using+Smartphones.
run_analysis.R:
- Download the dataset and unzip it.
- Get cleaned variables and activities names.
- Merge train and test datasets and obtain only the desired variables (signal means and standard deviations).
- Map variable names and activity names.
- Reshape the dataset and obtain the average of the desired variables by activity and subject of study.
- Save the new dataframe in a text file.
