Pursed-lip-breathing-in-electronics
We are working to design breathing controllable electronics on various electronic toys in order to create toys that guide users to do breathing exercises. Learn more about Breathing Toys here: https://www.breathinglabs.com/breathing-toys/ Electronic design is currentlly based on operationl amplifiers (amplification and comparation) but we are looking at arduino also (we have c# code ready, can port it to java). Currently we are controlling electric toys and electric muscle stimulation (TENS) machines, but we want to do some interaction with modern fitness machines, especially those that can change their weightload electronically (for example have a "difficulty" up/down buttons) in order to optimise working of human locomotory system under stress. Pursed-lip-breathing-in-general
With the latest advancement of computers and handheld devices humans' main way of interaction with the outside world has been reduced to actions of tapping, swiping, typing, and clicking on keyboards, mice and touch sensitive screens. Consequently there is a rise in repetitive strain injuries, such as carpal tunnel syndrome, neck pain, hand numbness and similar musculoskeletal disorders. We would like to change the paradigm of human computer interaction to become based on breathing to improve health and enrich user experience in information processing and gaming/entertainment. Shake-phone-to-increase-screen-brightness
If you've set the brightness too low and you cannot see your screen in the sun, simply shake your phone to increase the screen brightness to maximum. It will not work if your screen is turned off (for example if phone locked). Note 1: first after install you need to long tap on app icon and select app info, and there you should allow the only permission it requires (= system settings permission) and you can disable notifications as they are not used yet in these early versions and right now they are useless (just a placeholder kind of). Then you need to start app so it actually starts working and the phone should say "App started" through its speakers (have your volume for media turned high to hear that). Note 2: This app does not have a visual interface, when started it will run in the background, to start it automatically with each boot you can use an auto start app for example this one: Link
