Install Python:

Visit the official Python website at https://www.python.org/downloads/. Download the latest version of Python for Windows. Run the installer and follow the instructions to install Python. Make sure to check the box that says "Add Python to PATH" during the installation.

Download the Python installer:

On the Python website, you'll see the latest version of Python displayed. If you want to download the latest stable version, simply click on the "Download Python X.X.X" button. If you prefer to download a specific version, scroll down to the "Looking for a specific release?" section and click on the desired version.

Choose the installer:

On the downloads page, you'll find different installers available for various operating systems. For Windows, choose the installer that matches your system architecture (32-bit or 64-bit). Most modern PCs use the 64-bit version.

Run the installer:

Once the installer is downloaded, locate the file and double-click on it to run the installer.

Customize the installation (optional):

The Python installer provides options to customize the installation if needed. On the first screen, make sure to check the box that says "Add Python to PATH." This allows you to use Python from the command line. You can also choose to customize the installation location if desired.

Start the installation:

Click the "Install Now" button to begin the installation process. Wait for the installation to complete:

The installer will now install Python and its associated components on your system. The progress bar will indicate the installation progress.

Verify the installation:

Once the installation is complete, open a command prompt by pressing Win + R and typing "cmd" in the Run dialog box. Press Enter.

In the command prompt, type the following command and press Enter:

python --version

If Python is installed correctly, it will display the version number.

Install Jupyter Notebook:

In the Command Prompt, type the following command and press Enter:

pip install jupyter

Launch Jupyter Notebook:

In the Command Prompt, type the following command and press Enter:

jupyter notebook

Verify Jupyter Notebook installation:

In the Command Prompt, type the following command and press Enter:

jupyter notebook --version

If Jupyter Notebook is installed correctly, it will display the version number.

Jupyter Notebook Interface:

After running the command, your default web browser should open, displaying the Jupyter Notebook interface. The interface shows the file browser in your current directory. You can create a new notebook or open an existing one by clicking on the respective options.

Create a new notebook:

In the Jupyter Notebook interface, click on the "New" button and select "Python 3" (or any other available kernel) to create a new notebook. This will open a new notebook with an empty code cell ready for you to start coding.
